					<link>http://ariastereo.com/blog.cfm?feature=114780&amp;postid=894716</link>
<description>Tropic Culture headlined the friday night main stage show and it was a lot of fun. Yesterday was an interesting day. We had two new members Midas and Steve. Midas plays the keys and Steve plays the bass. It was pretty exciting to see everyone in the audience enjoying music. The weather was nice and windy at times. As always we had a great time on stage. Right after we finished we decided to go eat at a mexican restaurant called Chico&apos;s .Anytime you get around ECU in greenville , nc make sure to stop by Chico&apos;s. We also like to thank Debbie for alllowing us to perform at the Piratefest. Today we will be there again but at a different stage, The Port O Call international stage. We perform at 12 pm. Will keep you posted. Checking out

					<link>http://ariastereo.com/blog.cfm?feature=114780&amp;postid=811752</link>
<description>So we seat here turning our heads, fingers, toes, etc.. Looking for our next venture, booking, outcome. We realize that we fall back to the one thing that we love, Music. Tropic Culture is working hard to create a new wave of music and direction. New faces in the loop and music diversity. Keep in the loop as we start releasing new material for the world to hear and take. Stay cool, relaxed and keep on the hard work of everyday living. The apex of anticipation will be arriving soon.
Much Love,

					<title>METLive and Statesvill Civic Center</title>
					<link>http://ariastereo.com/blog.cfm?feature=114780&amp;postid=470139</link>
<description>Alright, Last thursday we performed at METLive outdoor atrium and this past Saturday we perfromed at the Statesville civic center. Let start with METLive. The atmosphre was chilling and people were out an about having a great time. We enjoyed everything and like to thank Eric and Dave for the sound. Also like to thank John tosco for having us for the concert seires. It was a scaled down version of the band, but nevertheless had a great time.

On Saturday, we performed at the Statesville Civic Center. the setup was great. The room was intimate and the sound was booming. As a matter of fact, we trip one of the breakers that was feeding the loudspeakers and subwoofer on our last song. We could feel every kick drum beat. Everyone had a great time and the audience was great and good listeners/dancers. We like to thanks Tiffany for having us there.</description>

					<title>Wake Forest Experience</title>
					<link>http://ariastereo.com/blog.cfm?feature=114780&amp;postid=456242</link>
<description>This past Friday September 17, 2010 Tropic Culture had the privilege to perform at Wake Forest University. We had a great time and hospitality was wonderful. We like to thank the Wake Forest team for getting it all together. Below are a few pictures from the event.

&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;

The stage set up was awesome and we had lots of fun performing our set. We also received a great dinner after our performance, yumm! by the way some of us left early and didn&apos;t get to enjoy the food. I made sure to send a picture text to the guilty and let them know what they were missing, LOL!

Dont forget to check out our calendar for upcoming dates to come out and see us. See you all soon.

					<title>Tropic Culture and Bele Chere</title>
					<link>http://ariastereo.com/blog.cfm?feature=114780&amp;postid=377240</link>
<description>Last weekend we had the privelage to perform at&amp;nbsp;the Bele Chere festival&amp;nbsp;in Asheville, NC. Bele Chere is one of the largest SouthEast Festival that has an annual event. We got there really early to check out all the buzz about the festival. We walked around for hours and saw some pretty cool things and people. The festival blocks pretty much the entire Downtwon Asheville area. Streets full of people waiting to here what the next act will be. Four main stages on different corners of Asheville Downtown. Our set started at 6:00 pm. It was a really hot day. Luckyli around our set time it was begining to somewhat cool down. We had a great time and lots of faces enjoying our music and grooves. We defenitely would love to go back and perform in Ahseville. Especially the Bele Chere festival. If you get a chance to go one year, defenitely recommended. Expect to be around thousands.
Our next festival show will be in Mathews, Nc for their annual Mathews Alive festival. always go to our Show page to see details and when we will be around your corner of the world.

					<title>Soccer Fans</title>
					<link>http://ariastereo.com/blog.cfm?feature=114780&amp;postid=322840</link>
<description>Most of us in Tropic Culture love the sport and&amp;nbsp; very excited to have the world cup begin. Brazil has always been a favorite among other teams. Cant wait to see what happens and who will be crowned world Champion. Let us know what team your pulling for and we will see who prevails. Soccer fanatics can be a bit crazy at times. Last year we went to Baltimore to see inter milan and chelsea play an exibition game at the Ravens stadium. The house was full and sold out. It was pretty crazy to experience the chants, energy and patriatism towards a team. Needles to say we went bar hoping afterwards and it got even more interesting. We ended up in a bar full of Chelsea fans while we were wearing inter milan attire. Not a smart idea. If you are interested in knowing what happened just shoot us a note.

Our upcoming show is in Durham this Friday, June 18, 2010. Take a look at our &lt;a href=&quot;./shows.cfm&quot;&gt;events page for more details.

See you soon,

					<title>Drumstrong 2010 Pictures</title>
					<link>http://ariastereo.com/blog.cfm?feature=114780&amp;postid=290179</link>
<description>This weekend was a great experience with lots of activity and great people. As the drumcircle kept drumming through the night, The main stage hosted a lot of great talent and music. You defenitely got a taste of all kinds of music from all over the world. We got up at 10:00 pm to start our 1 hour set for the night. The energy was great and everyone was very receptive to our music, lyrics and rhythms. We like to thank Scott Swimmer (Drumstrong Director and organizer) for having us there to perform. It was a special night for us as one of our own lost a loved one because of Cancer. If you didn&apos;t know, DrumStrongs whole purpose is to raise funds for Cancer research and is part of the humanitarian fight to defeat this plague. We have all been touched by releatives and friends regarding an experience with Cancer. Much love goes out to Andy (our Trombone) and his family for the loss of his mother. Below are some pictures of DrumStrong 2010 and Tropic Culture on stage.

Later in the week we went up to Greensboro to perform at the Blind Tiger. Had a great time. Thanks for the pizza. Today we will be performing at the Double Door Inn in Charlotte, NC. This will be a turning point for Tropic Culture as we are performing for some industry professionals. Wish us Luck. More importantly we hope that all can make it out . The opening band will be a Funk-reggae band called ZF and the Essentials. See you tonight.

<title>Last nights Tropic Culture&apos;s acoustic show at Pura Vida</title>
					<link>http://ariastereo.com/blog.cfm?feature=114780&amp;postid=129458</link>
<description>Yesterday evening we had the privilege to perform an acoustic set at Pura Vida Worldly Art in Charlotte, NC. The listen ing room in the back has a great intimate atmosphere where all get to experience the vibe of the music and emotional transitions and interpretations. Familiar faces were seen as well as new unknown faces. We thank Teresa for the opportunity and greatly appreciate all who were there for the performance. A unique event happened yesterday. Petey, who is typically our bass player, took upon himself to try to play the Puerto Rican Cuatro. The Cuatro is a 5 course 10 string instrument. Its along the family line of guitars but smaller. It was a great success and he did a phenomenal job. Just another arsenal added to our repertoire of instruments. Yesterday we had Petey, Gabe, Alberto, Jani, and Jorge come together to show half the size of Tropic Culture. Instruments represented were guitars, Bass, Cuatro, Vocals, Latin Percussion and Violin. We look forward to doing it again soon. Coming up this Thursday is our Full band gig at the Visulite Theater. Hope to see you all there. If you are interested in visiting and seeing what Pura Vida Worldly Art store is all about, visit them at &lt;a target=&quot;_new&quot; href=&quot;http://puravidaart.com&quot;&gt;http://puravidaart.com/. you check the schedule and meet the owner and so forth. See you all This Thursday. Checking out....
